I am the fashion and media director for ZYVAH Magazine at the University of South Florida. In my role, I am responsible for the creative direction and visual representation of the magazine’s fashion content. Additionally, ensuring the magazine’s presence across platforms is authentic to our brand.

Major: Finance
To introduce myself, I am the treasurer for ZYVAH magazine at the University of South Florida. I manage our financial records and ensure our budget is aligned with our goals. I work to improve our business financially as well as expand socially, helping the magazine reach new heights within the university.

Secretary
Major: Science Education
As the secretary of ZYVAH, I play a key role in managing communications, organizing meetings, and coordinating events. My responsibilities also include maintaining an organized record of all activities to support the team’s efficiency. I ensure smooth operations and foster a creative environment for all members.
Juliana Melendez
Vice President/Fashion Director
Major: Biology
As the extra pair of lenses, I add to the vision of our creative space, exploring how biology may influence the way we present ourselves. For me, fashion isn’t just aesthetic, it’s an extension of identity, and so I aim to blend logic and beauty in my work for this magazine, exploring how we can express who we are, both inside and out.

Our pages reflect the energy of a backstage fashion show: raw, unfiltered, and effortlessly chic. We embrace imperfection as art, mixing high-fashion editorial with underground influences to create something truly unique.

Meet Our Founder
Hi, I’m Mevlana, the founder of ZYVAH Magazine. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to both science and creativity—two worlds that might seem completely different, but to me, they’re just different ways of exploring the world. I’m a biomedical science student with a deep love for fashion, science, and culture. I created ZYVAH as a space where all of those passions collide.
I wanted to build something that goes beyond trends and aesthetics. ZYVAH is about expression, ambition, and purpose. It’s a place for students, creators, and visionaries—not just designers, but anyone with a story to tell.
